Ratings Updates

Entries for May 2010

A few ratings changes of note.  Warren Buffett's companies came off the AM Best watch list and Unum-Provident was actually upgraded by Moody's who is predicting a more stable ratings environment moving forward.

We continue to see interest in our approach to objective advice about life insurance assets.  Some, trying to reduce cash flow, are looking to replace whole life with term and have been surprised to see how attractive the internal returns are on some of the older whole life policies.  Don't rush into that decision.  We can provide some fairly quick analytics to help with understanding the underlying economics.  Please call me at 414.9955 and we will be glad to help.

As summer time arrives we wish you the best for a pleasant vacation season.
